POST GRADUATE COURSE OF
MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY OF PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION
Moscow State University of Psychology and Education was established in 1996. The University is headed by Doctor of psychological sciences, professor, and member of the Russian Academy of Education Vitaly Rubtsov.
6 Academy members, over 60 doctors of sciences and 240 candidates of sciences work at the University. 24 members of the university staff are recipients of the President Prize and the Prize of the Russian Federation Government
Entrance to the post-graduate course is available for the following scientific specialties:
- 19.00.01 - General psychology, personality psychology, history of psychology
- 19.00.05 – Social psychology
- 19.00.06 – Forensic psychology
- 19.00.07 - Educational psychology
- 19.00.10 - Correctional psychology
- 19.00.13 – Developmental psychology, ackmeology
- 13.00.02 – Theory and methods of education and breeding (social breeding, level of professional education)
- 05.13.01 – System analysis, management and information development.
at the faculties:
- educational psychology (EP)
- social psychology (SP)
- psychological counseling (PC)
- clinical and special psychology (CSP)
- forensic psychology (FP)
- social pedagogy (Sop)
- information technology (IT)
Admission to the post-graduate course is competitive and is available to graduates of higher education institutions.
Academic advising is provided by highly knowledgeable specialists – members and corresponding members of Russian Academy of Education, doctors and candidates of sciences. Joint academic advising by Russian and foreign specialists (from Germany, the USA, France and Israel) is also possible.
Fundamental investigations are carried out on the basis of unique scientific and educational centers of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. The University Library holds a vast library stock of scientific and applied practice related literature, electronic data base including publications of Russian and foreign authors, dissertations in various fields of psychology.
Post-graduate students have the opportunity to publish the results of their studies in 10 University journals issued on a regular basis (5 of them are in the list of editions recommended by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles).
The University holds several Dissertation Councils for candidate and doctor degrees’ defense (specialties 19.00.05, 19.00.06, 19.00.10, 19.00.13, 13.00.02).
Admission of applications to the post graduate program (full-time and part time form of tuition) lasts for one month: from September 1 to September 30.
Entrance exams take place in October
The date of acceptance – November 1.
