Strategy and mission

 

Mission

The University is primarily aimed at the development of psychology and psychological education in Russia, psychological enlightenment of population.

Strategy of University activities:
  • Development of new methodology of higher psychological education, development of the bases of the innovative university pedagogy
  • Designing of up-to-date models of psychologist professional activity in different areas of social practice
  • Training of experts – applied psychologist with a fundamental theoretical ground, aware of up-to-date methods of research and technologies of practical work, able to comprehend and professionally solve issues of high importance in different spheres of human activities
  • Development of psychological system in education and social life of the region, resource provision of psychological service in education.

Strategy

Within this strategy the program of MSUPE development is based on the following principals:
  • Integration of science, education, practice;
  • Integration of traditional scientific approach in psychology with psychological and human approach
  • Design of multilevel system of continuous education. Training based on the flexible, dynamic, useful for reorganization of educational modules, sensitive to social changes;
  • Organization of educational and scientific activity on proprietory experimental bases; organization of technopark based on University region;
  • Individually oriented approach to students training; development of training creative  workshop;
  • Education of responsibility for professionalism basing on psychologists code of ethics.
